Connie Strome Bradley is a native Oregonian. She was recognized as Florence First Citizen for her community involvement. She continues to volunteer in retirement. Her books, 'Snowball, the Nanny Goose of Sutton Lake' and 'LuLu, the Dancing Snail' have caused Connie to say she is having too much fun in her old age. Both are illustrated by award winning artist/naturalist Carol Johnson Unser.
