Reseña del editor:
"Cows, Etc. - Vol.2" is the artist's continuing exploration in pastel, through 100 miniature portraits of cows and other animals. Follow the journey of this charming series reproduced here in full color images! The artist Rita Kirkman's famous cow series started with a few good sales and quickly evolved into an addiction! Kirkman's fascination with the daily painting movement, combined with her propensity for portraiture as a genre, created the direction of this new series of miniature bovine 'portraits'. This second volume, when compared to the first, certainly shows Kirkman's advancement in style, technique and handling of the pastel medium, and includes a special end note about the artist's philosophy on daily painting and working in a series. This book is for anyone with a love of animals, a passion for art, or an appreciation for what's current and original in the art world.
