G.m. Staley grew up in an insignificant town near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the 1950’s and 1960’s. She wants the next generation to learn about the past, so that they can cope better knowing that, "life goes on," you just have to have faith--in God and in yourself. G.m. Staley is the author of the Name Giver series. In that book series the setting takes place in the apartment building in which she writes about in ALLEY RATS.
