Reseña del editor:
We all search for answers and explanations for things we experience in life. The Price of Life by Roney McIntyre, Jr., walks us through emotions and gives us truth with power and compassion. The Price of Life presents a collection of poems that are deeply felt and emotionally charged. Each piece reflects a different side of the author and his community, tackling themes as diverse as love, depression, the state of America, firsthand accounts of hurricane Katrina, and the plight of African Americans in modern society. In "Losing Love," "My Dream Girl," and "Sun Sets for the Moonlight," he launches us off with love in its most vulnerable and affectionate state. Meanwhile, in "Off Is," and "Environmental Neglect," the author paints an evocative picture of why there's so much waste and corruption in society. Poems like "Replacements" and "Instinctively" show the author's versatility and concern for young women as he reaches out to everyone and explain promiscuous behavior as it pertains to low self-esteem and a lack of real love. Mr. McIntyre is a gifted writer with a mission to educate people from all walks of life with his masterful collection of poetry in The Price of Life.
