Fabster’s fabulous 30first “quickies” is a collection of quick simple pasta recipes that can be prepared in the time it takes to cook the pasta al dente. The organization of this booklet resembles a typical scientific report with a Materials and Method section containing directions on what are considered “Essential” or “Optional” utensils and cookware to cook pasta; a Dosage section with info on pasta portions and ratios with basic sauces; a short Vocabulary explaining the meaning of commonly used terms; a two-page “Grocery checklist” and the recipes.

This booklet collects 30 recipes, the number of days in most months. Several recipes also come with one or more suggested variants so that if users have a “quickie” a day they can extend diversity beyond the 30 days. At the end of each recipe a section entitled ‘Your own variant’ followed by a few blank lines to encourage users of this pamphlet to devise/develop their own variant of the recipe.

30first “quickies” is a small booklet that does not take too much space in a kitchen, but it will turn out as a handy guide to get ideas for preparing a tasty pasta dish in a short time span.
