I have started writing science books to hopefully help young people discover the excitement in doing everyday science experiments in their own homes. From a very young age I was captivated by science and carrying out simple but fascinating experiments that opened up a whole world of understanding. I am now at University studying Physics, and loving every second of it. If this book can in a small way, stimulate even just one young person, girl or boy into looking at a future in science. Then I feel that I would have helped that person into a career that is perhaps one of the most fascinating and rewarding careers around.
