With every picture comes a story to the truth of it. And within every story lies a picture awaiting to be painted. For these poems it goes both ways. The original idea was to write the story of pictures I found online while visiting my girlfriend at the time. However after writing a few test ones, i began writing a new story based on the feelings I had for her, and with that came a different story that didnt quite fit the pictures. So i stripped the pictures away and decided to let the reader imagine it how they read it, everyone has their own interpretation and none think the same. So within these poems I hope you find interesting stories and memorable paintings your mind envisions.

My name is Logan Walker, I've lived a life most would only dream of. Although I've done nothing very spectacular or travelled the globe for my almost 20 years of living, I've painted pictures worth more than thousands of words with ironically my words. Writing in fact has been a passion of mine since I could hold a pen to paper. I got started with simple notes to classmates to pass time. Then once my teacher introduced me to the idea of poetry, I was hooked on writing. Ever since then I've been growing as a writer and as a poet. I originally wrote to pass the time, and then as the years drifted I began writing to uncover the truths I couldn't give voice to verbally. I've come to love writing, and the true beauty of my hometown in the metropolitan area. From the hills, to the sunsets on the national harbor; as a native born of the Washington metropolitan area, I wanted the world to see what I saw.
