Reseña del editor:
This edition is far more expensive than the others because it has printed color pictures. For much less expensive versions, please go to: www.uharriet.com The "Tao Te Ching" is the foundation of Taoism. Its empowering philosophy has enlightened minds for millennia. Now, in this new simplified format, this ancient wisdom is easier than ever to read, comprehend, and internalize. This illustrated version is further enhanced with inspiring photographs and other graphics that facilitate a richer experience with the ancient content. Many of the pictures are themselves each a meditation. Translated literally, “the Tao” is “the Way” or “the Path.” It is the way of heaven, or the path to enlightenment. However, in some contexts, it seems to describe the same thing that various texts refer to as “Source,” “intelligence,” “the spirit of God,” or “the light of Christ” that creates and sustains everything in existence. By aligning with that light, or walking that path, our awareness increases, giving us expansive love, joy, deep inner stillness, peace beyond reason, a sense of wholeness within, and oneness with all of creation. This Tao consciousness enlightenment is also called Krishna consciousness, Buddha consciousness, or Christ consciousness. It is all the same awakened consciousness. Considering the "Tao Te Ching" concepts taught by Jesus in the Bible, and considering the non-Biblical stories of his many travels with Joseph of Arimathea, it is apparent that Jesus had learned the Tao. He self-identifies with it when he says, “I am the way” (John 14:6). With that same Tao consciousness, each of us may also self-identify with it. Likewise, he self-identifies with “the light of the world” (8:12) and encourages us to do the same (Matthew 5:14). Learn the Tao. Align with the Tao. Then be the Tao. Be the way.
