Pastor Dirk Willner was Ordained in 1990 and is in full-time ministry with the Lutheran Church of Australia. He has served in Melbourne (1990-1996), Brisbane (1996-2002), on the Sunshine Coast (2002-2008), and now residing on the Gold Coast and in pastoral ministry at Living Word Lutheran Church, Ashmore (2008- present) Gold Coast. Pastor Dirk is the founder of 'Living Word e-Ministry' that seeks to 'equip the saints for ministry' with sound biblical teaching relevant to today's changing and challenging times. This ministry initiative aims to connect with people wherever they happen to be, using internet technology, to build a church community beyond the walls of the building. His easy listening messages have drawn numerous people who benefit from live teaching every Sunday. The teaching encourages people to explore their faith in Christ and move towards discipleship as a way of life. A life of action by faith as an expression of what we believe. Under his direction, Living Word has expanded in ministry with a refocus on faith-in-the-home as well as mission abroad and finding ways to connect with our community to share God's blessings.
