Carl is a former air traffic controller and commercial pilot. He made a mid-life career change into law enforcement; retiring over ten years ago. He has been a student of the paranormal throughout his adult life. A year ago, after completing an investigation of a haunted house, he wrote his first book about that house, and the spirits within that haunt it. That first book launched Carl's latest avocation, writing. His other books include his story as a controller and pilot, another romantic novel and a true love story about a family and their dog. This, Carl's fifth book is another fictional romance that could easy be a realistic recounting of a persons life.
