Janet Oglesby Nehring was raised in Houston, Texas. She moved to the hill country when she was in her twenties and has been there ever since. She has been teaching elementary school most of her adult life, now concentrating on special education. Now that her two sons are grown, her greatest joy is being with her students, friends and family, puttering in her flower garden, reading, writing, blogging on marriage and other inspirational insights and taking care of her beloved dog, Jenny.
