Walter E. Griffin is semi-retired and lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and two dogs. He says that he has whittled his hobbies down to three major categories...writing, photography, and riding his motorcycle. Retiring after 31 years from a major oil and chemical company about 15 years ago, he began writing after beginning a second career as a certified motorcycle rider coach, teaching at the awesomest motorcycle riding school in Houston---AwesomeCycles, Inc.. He writes for pleasure and entertainment--his books are sold internationally---and his subjects range from fact to fiction, and his wry sense of humor is displayed in his form of writing and in the subject matter of his books ranging from people to nature to science and physics.
