Fresh out of the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 23, Daniel started selling 7UP as a route driver. He learned how to convince store managers to buy more and soon achieved acting Sales Manager. He next worked at NCR for 19 years starting as a Junior Salesman. While making and exceeding his personal sales quota for 15 consecutive years, moved into management early in his career. In 1981, he was hired as Sales Manager at Bankers/Plus, a company that financed and leased data processing systems nationally for the banking industry. The company was sold and he was promoted to Executive Vice President. After five years with Bankers/Plus, he left and founded BANKSYSTEMS. He took a mere $2,000 in capital and created a $15 million-a-year International Business. Daniel grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and is now living close to his roots with his wife, Darlene and dog, Max. He loves to travel, hunt, fish, garden and mentor others aspiring to succeed in the business world.
