Head meteorologist Jeff Stabinski from the Channel 9 Weather Team in Orlando, Florida led a pretty normal life with his job, bass fishing and enjoying lighting chasing with all the severe weather that Central Florida had to offer. Michael Mazzarelli is paralyzed from the chest down, due to a motorcycle accident 40 years ago. He never let his paralysis slow him down. He was on an airplane flying back from a vacation, when he look over at his wife and said "Bad Rain". She looked at him confused and he replied, "That's the name of the book I'm going to write." He wrote this book using a special hand adapter to hit one key at a time! Over the next year he spent hours a day as "Bad Rain" unfolded. Michael dedicated the book to his wife of 49 years for her love and support. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
