Through an unlikely use of technology, Maddie and Carl experience some real Texas history that requires their 21st century help. If she can avoid the school bully who is out to get her, Maddie will race against time to help a frontier friend in need.

Biografía del autor:

Mala Farmer is a native Texan with family roots extending deep into Stephen F. Austin’s Colony. Her Parker family ancestors founded Pilgrim Church, the first established Protestant church in Texas and were present at the devastating massacre of Fort Parker and the capture of Cynthia Ann Parker, her brother John, and several others. As a lifelong educator in the field of English as a Second Language, Ms. Farmer has taught in Texas public schools, Texas A&M University, Mexico, Colombia, and Micronesia. She lives with her family in College Station, Texas.
