The term minister or ministry has become a very common term in the Christian community. Sometimes, these terms are often interchanged with gifts or callings to ministry. This manuscript will seek to bring some clarity in the area of minister, ministries, and gifts. I will discuss in this manuscript the gifts that Jesus gave to men (Ephesians 4: 11). I will attempt to identify the function; define the five gifts; compare the types and shadows In the Old Testament with the New Testament ministry, as well as the need for these gifts today.
