Serena Pettus is a mother of two who is happily married to her high school sweetheart. She works full-time in the medical field and spends her down time with family and friends, reading or, (of course) writing. Serena is currently writing paranormal romance and hopes to branch out to contemporary as well. Her writing has been influenced by Maryjanice Davidson, Laurel K. Hamilton and Lara Adrian. The paranormal element allows her to give reality a new depth by integrating paranormal creatures into her everyday world, and the Gulf Coast culture she experiences plays a big part in her writing, forming not only the cultural traits of her characters but also the ambiance of the geography in her writings.
