Biografía del autor:After Leaving teaching Margaret Stead studied Art in Harrogate and was practising and exhibiting artist for ten years. She then reurned to academic study, gaining an M.A in Art History at the former Leeds Polytechnic and a PhD in History at the University of Leeds. She has published several articles and collaborated with her husband, Geoffrey Stead, in writing THe Exotic Plant: a history of the Moravian Church in Great Britain, 1742-2000 (Epworth Press, 2003). They still live in Yorkshire.
