Dr. Kari is a Licensed barber, professional hair designer & stylist, natural hair care specialist, trainer, educator and consultant on proper hair care, hair care products consultant, Board Certified Trichologist through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and the Founder & CEO of Mahogany Hair Revolution Salon & Trichology Clinic. Dr. Kari is passionate about hair styling and education. She has merged her passion and degree to create a business that caters to a market that is interested in natural hair and seeking guidance on how to achieve healthier hair. As an educator and speaker, Dr. Kari has also had the opportunity to work with a number of product companies including Shea Moisture, Eden Bodyworks, Sof’n Free, Curls, Carol’s Daughter and African Pride. She has represented these companies as a guest speaker, presenter, workshop leader and product educator. Dr. Kari’s reputation as a trusted stylist has led her to establish a relationship with some notable celebrities who include: Kim Coles, Jaden Smith star of “Karate Kid,” Leon Thomas III, from Nickelodeon’s “Victorious,” Lisa Gaye Hamilton, Cedric the Entertainer’s daughter and Keisha and Omar Epps’ children just to name a few of the celebs she’s serving.
