Kat Kruger is a freelance writer and Creative Director at Fierce Ink Books. Her first novel, The Night Has Teeth, won the 34th Atlantic Writing Competition and was listed as a Best Book for Kids & Teens by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre (Spring 2013). The book also boasts over 2 million reads on Wattpad and her series has been translated into German by Random House. In The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction Charles de Lint called The Magdeburg Trilogy “a superb and satisfying series that creates something fresh out of its source material and doesn’t let the reader down.” She has been a guest author at Hal-Con (Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Comic Convention), The Word on the Street (Toronto and Halifax), and Eden Mills Writers’ Festival, and has held writing workshops at numerous libraries and schools. In her spare time she enjoys playing online dungeon crawlers as well as tabletop and role-playing games. She holds a degree in public relations from Mount Saint Vincent University.
