A Vanderbilt University Medical School graduate, Dr. Sarah Samaan is a board certified cardiologist who considers heart disease prevention the cornerstone of her medical practice. While she is skilled in caring for patients with heart attacks, heart failure, and other devastating consequences of cardiovascular disease, she works passionately to educate women on the message that heart disease prevention should be a life-long pursuit. For the past three years, Texas Monthly magazine has named Dr. Samaan as a “Texas Super Doctor.” She has been acclaimed as one of “America's Top Physicians,” by Consumers' Research Council of America, and is widely recognized as an expert on cardiovascular disease in women. Dr. Samaan practices cardiology at Legacy Heart Center in Plano, Texas, near Dallas and at the Baylor Heart Hospital.
