Shelley Ashcroft has a bachelor's degree in writing and enjoys a variety of nonfiction writing including memoirs, essays, biographies, blogs, journalism, and letter writing. She has written and published business, community, and church newsletters for thirty-five years, and has worked in fields ranging from newswriting to proofreading to contracts management. Ms. Ashcroft is an avid journal writer and currently teaches journal writing workshops in the community. Shelley homeschooled all six of her children. Three of her children passed away from complication of cystic fibrosis. She is an avid reader and enjoys crocheting for charity. Shelley loves lemon yellow, autumn, basset hounds, and Thanksgiving.
