Verna Kokmeyer loves sharing with kids. As a former high school teacher, she has always been challenged to improve communication, and when objects and drama are added to the mix, everyone listens.
Her desire to effectively communicate Scripture led to writing object lessons and skits to introduce sermons .Her published materials include object lesson books, devotions, contributions to Vacation Bible School curriculum, and dramatic sketches for worship. Verna also enjoys teaching others how to use objects to illustrate in their writing and speaking. For ten years, she directed Maranatha Christian Writers’ Conference.
Verna lives with her husband near Grand Rapids, Michigan. They enjoy seven children and seventeen grandchildren.
