[4], 40 leaves. Yudlov 356; Yaari 240. Illustrated with several small woodcuts. Modern full leather binding with gilt lettering on spine. This haggadah follows the Italian Rite. The last page, in Italian, is an attestation by 3 censors from Padua that they reviewed this work and that there is nothing in it offensive to Christians and so copies of it may be sold. Some pages have old worming holes with small stains around them from some transparent tape that some fool taped over them. Fortunately the tape dried up long ago and fell off, but has left its mark. The Bragadini family began printing Hebraica in Venice in the first half of the 16th century and soon came to dominate the field. "Even in the beginning of the 18th century, Hebrew books could be printed at Venice only under the name and authority of the Venetian nobleman Bragadini ('Stamperia Bragadini'), who received payment in return for his patronage" (Jewish Encyclopedia).
