Beschreibung
American novelist Booth Tarkington (1869-1946) signed this brief typed note to Miss Kate Green who asked for his signature. Tarkington is one of only three novelists who have won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction more than once (The Magnificent Ambersons in 1919 and Alice Adams in 1922). William Faulkner and John Updike are the other two authors to be awarded the prize multiple times. Typed on a 9 ¾ x 6 ¾ piece of Tarkington s personal stationery. Condition: Foldlines, ink transfer of Tarkington s signature from where the note was folded, otherwise very good condition. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers A00652
