Unpaginated. Deep red boards with black spine and gold lettering. Slight rubbing at bottom spine. Clean and unmarked throughout. Binding is square and tight. First free endpaper has a charming hand-drawn illustration of a house in brown ink and the inscription: "To Daddy from Pam and Steve, 1975. Eric Sloane" Price-clipped, pictorial dust jacket is toned and faded along the edges. There is some foxing to inside back dj. This is not a first edition, but a profusely illustrated, very nice reading copy of the well-known artist" rendingers and descriptions of "antiquities and American firsts." Size: Octavo.
