Slight edge wear, corners bumped, front inner hinge weak, name in pencil on front pastedown, one page has a line underlined in ink. VG. Fine art nouveau woodcut bordered titlepage (unsigned). A special & beautifully produced memorial item: "Together with a description of the Fountain erected to his memory, at Upper Sandusky, Ohio, by his daughter, Laura Stevens, and of the Ceremonies attendant upon the Dedication of the same (October 11, 1907).To the cherished memory of Samuel W. Stevens [1818-95] a sturdy pioneer, an honorable citizen of Wyandot County."
