This German-born American composer, arranger, author and editor taught and contributed to music periodicals; his collected essays, "Music and Culture," were published just after his death. ALS in French, 3pp, 5¼" X 8¼", n.p., n.d. Addressed to "Mon cher frere." Very good. Though not translated, the content clearly involves musical matters, penned in his big, bold scrawl in brown ink.
