The Irish director of the publishing firm Methuen Ltd. was also a prolific poet (Dublin Days), novelist (Sea Wall, The Open Sky) and short story writer (The English Captain, Darling Tom). ALS, 2pp, 7" X 9", Invernessshire, Scotland, 1931 July 20. Addressed to Mr. Trevelyan. Near fine. "I am very glad indeed to hear that you were interested in The Garden."
