Number 69 of an edition limited to 250 copies, numbered and signed by the author. Ex.libris Walter Reginald Bett, with his library label laid down on the pastedown page. Original orange cloth boards with black buckram spine lettered in gilt, slighlty tanned, unclipped dust-jacket, nice condition with no tears or soiling. A few spots of foxing to endpapers. An excellent copy, one might say, printed by the Windmill Press, Kingswood, Surrey. Short story about an Algerian-born Englishman turned native and his encounter with a local tribal chief.
