The Neurdein Brothers (Frà res Neurdein), Etienne (1832-1918) and Louis-Antonin (1846-1914), were French photographers. They initially worked with their father, photographer Jean Cà sar Adolphe Neurdein (1806-1867), who went by the psudonym Charlet, and then ventured out on their own in 1868. By 1875 they had formed a successful postcard publishing house. While Etienne directed the photo studio and specialized in portrait photography, Louis-Antonin went on many photographic expiditions, focusing on ethnographic and landscape photography in France, Algeria, Belgium and Canada. Louis-Antonin became a member of The French Photographic Society in 1884. The brothers won prizes for their work at the Exposition Universelle of 1899 and 1900. Photographs and postcards from the brother are usually signed either "ND Photo." or "ND". Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 42062
