Bookseller's label (Rene Kieffer, Paris) to verso of front free endpaper, and previous owner's bookplate (Noel Cordon) to first blank page. Ink inscription, date and signature from t'Serstevens to Noel Cordon on page [7]. The text is illustrated with woodcuts by Alaux, which have been colored. The second part of the book contains a suite of all the woodcuts used in the text, except printed in maroon. Interior clean and unmarked aside from the inscription. Binding firm. Signed by Author.
