Introduction by Homer Croy. 8vo. Red textured paper over boards with black lettering, pictorial dust jacket. 287pp. Illustrations. Near fine/very good. Mild jacket edgewear, with spine faintly sunned. Handsome and tight, this cryptic early printing of this 1953 study, Breihan's first book, bears an interesting autograph addition: An extra-illustrated frontispiece, for tipped in facing the title page is an Autograph Note Signed from Croy, 1p, 8¼" X 5¼", n.p., n.y. Very good. In his enormous, bold hand in his usual brown ink, he pens a cryptic "Sure. Send it along. / Have gone Hollywood / 2577 Dearborn Drive / Homer Croy."
