In 1774 a Mr. Day who had been a millwright from Suffolk attempted a submersible dive in a converted boat off Plymouth. He was never seen again. Frank Beer investigated this extraordinary experiment and produced this 16 page booklet with drawings and extracts from local newspapers etc. SIGNED with best wishes by Frank Beer.
