A Drunk Man looks at the Thistle (first published 1926) is often considered MacDiarmid's masterwork.Arthur Currie (b. 1922) was overseer of bindings at Oliver & Boyd, executed design bindings for Hamilton and Duval in the 1970s, and taught at Napier College in the 1980s.
