Collated and complete.Volume I contains a tipped-in letter from the author from Rushmore, Salisbury. The letter contains a small stamp from Cardiff Public Libraries.Volume I and II are presentation copies from the author to one Clement Waldron of Llandaff, and contain presentation inscriptions to the title pages. This set was previously owned by renowned British archaeologist David W. Phillipson, noted by his bookplate to the front pastedown of each volume. Also containing a bookplate for 'Humphry Gifford' to the verso of the front free-endpaper of Volume IV.
