Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Black/white glossy photo, 8 x 10", frame 9.75 x 11.75. Photo is a bit wavy in some spots else looks to be in good condition, not examined out of frame. No photographer listed. Frame is black with a few small scuff marks to bottom else good. Photos shows Robison riding a galloping horse and smoking a cigarette, wearing a cowboy hat. Affixed to back of frame is a brief bio of Robison and info on the acquisition of the photo by a Mike Fensler of Grass Lake, Michigan. VERY VERY LIGHTLY INSCRIBED "BEST WISHES TO BESSIE" AND SIGNED BY CARSON ROBISON. It cannot be stressed enough how light the signature is; Robison adds one more word after his signature but it is hard to make out. Looks to be "Spruce" or "Bruce", perhaps the name of the horse he is riding? Extra postage will be required for shipping. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 22-7487

Paperback. Zustand: Very Good. Double mounted photograph 9.5 x 6.7", mounts 10 x 7" and 13 x 9.5", wood frame 14 x 10". Frame has scratches, backing is toned, torn and has three labels, photo has staining to larger mat and affects part of the signature. Not examined out of frame. Fenton Reuben McCreery, 1866-1940, has written on the mat "Behold your own handiwork Fenton R. McCreery". He is seated wearing a WWI era uniform. Prior to WWI he had been a diplomat in Chile, Santo Domingo and Honduras. During WWI he served in Europe with the Red Cross, in the portrait there is a cross on his cap. He was the uncle of Jerome Remick, the music publisher. As for the labels on the back: one has McCreery's name and the other is another family member. The third label, red, dated 11-18-28, is from the Detroit Police Department. It lists from who it was taken- Emory Clark with the address of 8310 E. Jefferson. Clark and McCreery were similar in age and moved in the same social circles. A mystery that needs solving. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 21-5919
