Octavo, pp. 109. Inscribed by the author to previous owner on the title page. Author has put an extraordinary amount of thought into composing poems wherein he writes cleverly in the first-person voices of 39 different classical composers of 10 nationalities, covering everyone from Puccini to Gershwin. The book is in Good condition in the publisher's textured maroon cloth with spine and upper panel lettering gilt. Gilt has largely faded with the decades. Foxing on top edge. Internally clean and unmarked. Dust wrapper is Fair-only, with a section of paper loss on bottom edge of front panel (see photo 5). Jacket now protected from further wear by a sheet of mylar.
