6 1/4 inches x 9 1/2 in., xviii, 413 pp., with the numbered and signed colophon page on the reverse of p. 413; title-page & colophon page designs and twenty-one Valenti Angelo designs, printed in color, and used as chapter headings. Black leather spine and sides, with titling on the spine in silver, raised bands at the top and bottom of the spine, and gray marbled paper over boards; silver paper-covered slipcase, with a mounted black & silver title label on the spine. The leather spine edges and raised bands show light rubbing; former owner's name in ink on the top edge of the front paste-down; the lower section of the slipcase is detached, but present, the slipcase shows some wear, scratches to the silver paper.
