Born in Wilson, North Carolina, Bruce Cotten (1873 - 1954) was a serious collector of books, art, and ephemera relating to North Carolina. Much of his collection can now be found at the Louis Round Wilson Library of the University of North Carolina library. Bound in original brown cloth with gilt title to spine. Very subtle dampstain to front cover. Offsetting to endpages and a few small spots of foxing to interior, but overall clean and bright.
