Beschreibung
Reprinted from the American Antiquarian. An important essay of the linguistic theories of Horatio Hale, famed ethnologist, regarding the migrations and tribal relations of the American Indian people. Signed "With the author's compliments" in Hale's hand to upper right corner of cover. Obtained at the same time as another piece where the author signed with his full name. Both items were signed to a Rev. James Roy who has also signed the cover. The interior of the article has been annotated by the author in many places in pencil, while some entries (also in pencil) may have been made by the Rev. Book is internally near fine, but wraps show some chipping at rear. Front portion of wraps containing signature are still near fine. 27 pages, octavo format, light blue wraps with printed titles. Satisfaction guaranteed. Additional photos always available on request. Shipped in a fitted, padded box. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers ABE-1620695444546
