Popular silent star who co-starred with Al Jolson in "The Jazz Singer" (1927); ironically, talking pictures put an end to her career. Color IPS (verso), 4" X 6¼", n.p., n.d. Very good. Book photograph, a color reproduction of a film poster for "Caught in the Fog," mounted to heavy white stock on the blank verso of which she inscribes "Best wishes to / Terry / Most Sincerely / May McAvoy" in blue ballpoint.
