Jeri an aspiring Sci Fi/Horror author was active in the Florida West Coast Sci Fi - Fantasy community. She was a "volunteer" for DragonCon in Atlanta and other Florida West Coast and Orlando events as an active member of ASFA where she acquired amazing autographs. Enemy Mine is a science fiction novella by American writer Barry B. Longyear. It was originally published in the September 1979 issue of Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. The novella's plot concerns two soldiers, one human and one reptilian-like alien, who find themselves stranded together on a hostile planet. Barry is the first writer to win the Hugo, Nebula, and John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer all in the same year, for Enemy Mine. Enemy Mine became a film in 1985 directed by Wolfgang Petersenstaring Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr. as a human and alien soldier, respectively. Ref: isfdb. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 19203
