(xv), 101pp of text with black & white images opposite, folding pedigree, title page is signed Thomas Pickles, ink name and address of previous owner to front free endpaper, very light spotting to edges, pages appear clean internally, slight browning to the pages at p73 where a folded newspaper obituary of the author has been laid in, glazed blue cloth with gilt spine lettering and gilt lettering and emblem to upper board. The Old Hall Bookshop was established in 1977 by John and Lady Juliet Townsend. The Old Hall is a very fine 18th century house in the centre of Brackley, a pleasant market town about 18 miles north of Oxford. The shop has a large stock of antiquarian, secondhand, new books and maps covering a wide range of interests and prices. We welcome visitors and trade customers. Parking is easy in the Market Square. Disabled access available. Opening hours: We are open every day except Sunday and Bank holidays, from 10am to 5:30pm. We attend a number of Book Fairs each year.
