Comes with a very rare 2 page typed and signed letter from the author to Lord Mowbray ,dated jan 16 1922. In it ,the author bemoans the supporters of pacifism [ including Shaw and his followers - ie,Bernard Shaw] - he explains the intention of his book to "smash unpatriotic faction" - he is quite vitriolic in the letter - Mobray obviously shared his views.
