All copies illustrated by eighty engravings on wood from drawings by Birket Foster and John Gilbert. This copy is unique by his binding: horn(?) covers, coated with Scottish tharton, gilt and filleted edges, on top of the fore-edge signed by 'Albert'. With a frontcover painting oval birds-eye from Aberfoyle, an unknown village in the environment of Glasgow.
