This popular wrestler was active from the 1930s through the 1950s, appearing in 679 matches, and later was involved in wrestling promotion with Chicago's influential Fred Kohler. ODS, 1p, 8½" X 10 3/4", n.p., n.y. [likely ca. 1960]. Very good. Faint edgewear and light age toning; three-punched at left margin. Original pencil sketch by unknown amateur artist, a head-and-shoulders closeup of bare-chested, caulifower-eared Taylor gazing steely-eyed, boldly inscribed and signed by him in black ballpoint left of center: "To My / Good Friend / Donald Burnell / Good Luck / from Ned Taylor / Sept. 22, 1960."
