Ex-lib (American Antiquarian Society) with small card glued to front pastedown and extending slightly above the cover, and with an embossed stamp to title page. Inscribed without signature by the author. In Very Good condition. Covers and spine show very light wear. Both hinges are cracked. The two foldout maps are in near fine condition with a bit of age darkening. The contents are clean, unmarked and unfoxed. The binding is square and, other than the loose hinges, very secure. Part almanac and part travel guide, this volume presents a view into late 19th century Mexico City, "with excursions to Toluca, Pachuca, Puebla, Cuernavaca, etc.". (cfm).
