This celebrated pitcher, considered one of the 100 greatest players of all time, debuted with the Washington Senators in 1939 (1941-44, 1946-48) and also played for the Cleveland Indians (1949-57) and Chicago White Sox (1958-62); in 1972 he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. PS, heavy stock 3½" X 5½", n.p., n.d. Fine. Reproduction of Wynn's Hall of Fame plaque in gold against a yellow background, signed nicely in blue ballpoint in a light area of upper left.
