The full Portable Library includes a collection of 23 of Slobodkina's children's books presented in black and white paperback format in a cardboard carry case. This set is missing two of the unpublished stories, Mary and the Poodies and Little Frog (a whimsy). The library also includes a variety of illustration styles that Slobodkina experimented with throughout seven decades. Books are stapled and in new condition (except for the Caps for Sale play which is spiral bound). Each book is hand signed by Esphyr Slobodkina on the inside front cover or first page. In addition. The inside lid of the box has a complete list of stories which is also signed "with best wishes to ____ from Esphyr Slobodkina, Oct. 12th, 1990." The box also contains 22 black and white photos of Ms. Slobodkina, children, and others participating in an author/artist workshop. Also contains four postcards of Ms. Slobodkina's work, one of which is signed. Lastly, the box contains a pamphlet from the Sid Deutsch Gallery from 1989 where her works were being shown. Box has some bends on the lid, but is clean and in very good condition. Unknown publisher. I suspect she self published this later in life.
